Freeway Sign Becomes Reliable with LED Error-Detection Drivers It has been recognized that LED display used in the freeway should have a feature which the system can report in real time the LED open-circuit or short-circuit errors. During the error detection process, neither the display system would be expected to shut down nor all LEDs be turned on. It is so-called transparent error detection or silent error detection. Macroblock's LED Drivers with Error Detection can meet such requirements. Thus, when the messages of traffic conditions are correctly displayed, the display error, if any, will be reported immediately to the central office.
